How Important is Spirituality in Your Lifestyle

How Important is Spirituality in Your Lifestyle is a good question to contemplate. Let’s make the general observation that spirituality is your connection with all things. Do you feel it or do you see yourself as separate from everything on earth?

Let us first say that in the new science, many scientists feel consciousness is the prevailing force in the Universe. In consciousness, everything communicates. Physicists have shown that particles communicate faster than the speed of light. Everything, both animate and inanimate is made of particles. Not realizing you are connected to everything in the Universe separates you from many scientific beliefs.

Do You Feel Connected?

The second aspect is how you feel? Do you feel life is treating you fairly? Do you feel a connection to your body and therefore to Nature? Do you feel everything on earth has come out of the earth and therefore must be connected? Do you feel connected to everyone in our species even though you do not know them? These are some fundamentals to a spiritual belief.

Having spiritual beliefs about connection will help you realize how your body is connected to Nature and therefore what you eat and whether you exercise are in compliance with natural orders. Meditating to get more connected emotionally to that which exists is a deeper step. Treating others with respect and kindness and having empathy are all connecting behaviors.

Knowing Your Purpose is Spiritual

Feeling you have a purpose is a way to connect with your potential and pursue your self-actualization. Becoming the best we can is a natural phenomena in which all particles that build atoms work to benefit the whole by becoming as strong as possible. Atoms, cells, molecules become glands, organs, hormones, and neurotransmitters which contribute to making us the best we can be.

Nature gifts us with happiness brain chemicals in the form of hormones and neurotransmitters that sustain efforts to improve as in learning and physical development and reward us with good feelings for our progress. Happiness biologically is not just achieving, but progressing. We need to progress to achieve and Nature wants us to risk and take on challenges. Our brain grows with challenge and creativity.

If you want to tap into the natural order and feel the happiness waiting for you then learn and develop your physical capabilities. Care for others and spend your time trying to make a contribution to the whole. These behaviors stimulate dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphins. If you experience these everyday with your thoughts, intentions, and behaviors you are connected.
