How Lifestyle and Work Ethic Go Together

A Healthy Lifestyle and Good Work Ethic reinforce each other. We have to feel our best to give work our best effort and achieving at our work makes our lifestyle rewarding.

Creating the lifestyle routines that optimize work and personal fulfillment is a good objective. A lot has to do with our planning. Both health and work benefit from good time management. We need to engage in the most important basics for both.

Health begins with healthy meals and exercise. Both require planning. Health must include relaxation and good sleep. Our nervous system must regenerate to supply us with the energy needed for creativity. Creative people often prefer mornings for their best work because they are energized after a nights rest.

Planning is Key

Healthy meals and weight maintenance require planning, shopping and preparing. There are many ways to achieve eating good meals from preparing them ourselves to meal delivery systems. The important thing is not stopping for fast food or reaching for the calorie dense foods available because we haven’t planned.

Exercise needs planning and routine. It supplies us with vitality, immunity, health, energy, self-esteem, optimism, and general positivity. The best balance is working with resistance like weights or floor exercises and having a good aerobic routine.

Work also benefits from good planning. Time management allows us to create blocks for the most productive work which is often creativity. We look for our peak energy periods for the most demanding tasks. We love to get into flow in which we engage without distractions and reach peak productivity.

Peak health and peak productivity are the lifestyle of which we dream. This probably includes a passion and gratitude for our opportunity to enjoy our work and personal life. When both are working in conjunction, we have figured our work life balance. Passion for our personal life and work feels like our purpose and why we are here.
