Hating Other People Hurts Us Most

Hate hurts us most

Hate seems to operate on several levels these days. We may have learned to hate someone as we have grown up for many reasons. Perhaps they bullied us, abused us, treated us cruelly, betrayed us or stand for something we can’t abide.

Hate is also getting to be more prevalent in which we hate people we don’t know. We may hate people in another political party, that like a sports team we feel is a rival, that belong to a different religion, ethnic group, culture, color, or nation than us.

To Love or Hate, That is the Question

We often seem to hate more easily than we love. Love requires an openness and sometimes results from treating people with respect and appreciating who they are. Grouping everyone in a group by their particular characteristics is a blanket smear that may have its roots in just making us feel justified or superior.

Hate is the opposite of love. It creates a different physical response. It can lead to debilitating behavior and even disease. The human nervous system and spiritual chakra systems seek love to lighten our load and make us feel at one with everything. Hate separates us from other people and closes off energy that could be available to us.

Love Is Life Sustaining

Love helps us perform and build comforting supportive relationships. Hate is a tool to separate us, stimulate over excited brain waves, stimulate cortisol and adrenaline, and take us to unhealthy results if maintained too long. Hating one person can affect our comfort in the world. We may have good reason, but it has been said that hate is like drinking poison and hoping the other person dies.

It is amazing when you read that someone who has been wronged by another like having someone you love killed by that person can forgive them. This doesn’t seem natural, but how does the person who forgives see it? When you hate a parent or ex-mate for them having wronged you, what does carrying that hate do to your own quality of life? It is a serious impingement like a creak in your neck that at least could be fixed by a chiropractor.

Hate is a blackness in your being like a black hole in space which is called anti-matter. It can suck the energy out of a body. If you want to optimize your performance, you want your energy to be positive. Forgiving someone can occur without you having to talk to them. Just forgive them. Removing your hate of others because of their affiliation is the same. It is negative energy that can be transformed into positive energy that could help you achieve your life’s goals.
